31 Scriptures About Obedience is a follow-up article after I did the study for the At His Feet Series – Persecuted For Righteousness Sake.
This opened something new to me about obedience and how we as God’s children are to be obedient toward Him.
Obedience is also one of the keys and Kingdom requirements to receive eternal life.
The choices we make and the paths we follow result from the one we obey, either God or satan.
A Scripture I often think about and use as a direction indicator is:
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
Galatians 6:7
Just as we must not be deceived we cannot deceive God. He will not be mocked by us and we can be certain that we will pay the price for what we sowed.
The good news is that God’s grace and forgiveness are always waiting for us when we sincerely and remorsefully confess and turn away from our sins.
It is my prayer that these Scriptures will remind you of what God expects from His children and that you will clearly hear the soft whisper of the Holy Spirit minister to you through them.
