Choose Between Life & Death

Choose Between Life And Death is a blog post written to give everyone who hasn’t accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior the chance to do so.

Choose Between Life And Death

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way. I am the truth, I am the life Nobody comes to the Father except by Me. If you really know Me; You will also know My Father. From now on, you do know Him, and you have seen Him.”

John 14:6 (Easy)

Writing my first blog post will not be fit if I do not start at the beginning giving anyone that does not know Jesus a chance to accept Him.

Also if you strayed from the path of righteousness and like to repent and come back to Him, I encourage you to do so.

Seeing that my focus will be to encourage you to build a relationship with God, and if you already are a child of God a more intimate one – I still must give those that do not know Jesus a chance to come to Him.

Someone recently asked me where I think I would have been now if I did not have Jesus in my life and my honest answer was that I would have been totally nuts or I would have committed suicide because if I did not have Christ in my life I would not have any hope to cling to.

And that is the truth!

These last few years were absolute hell on earth, but I did the only thing I could and cling to Christ with everything inside of me.

I cannot promise you anything will change for the better in your circumstances after you gave your life to Christ, but I can testify that God carried me when I could not go on myself, that He encouraged me through His Word and His Holy Spirit when all the other voices around me remain negative.

He took my hand and gave me a fresh perspective on every obstacle I encountered.

I KNOW THAT I WAS NEVER ALONE!

May You clearly hear the voice of the Holy Spirit ministering to You while reading this article.

God is faithful

“The Lord is fair in all his ways and faithful in everything he does. The Lord is near to everyone who prays to him, to every faithful person who prays to him. He fills the needs of those who fear him. He hears their cries for help and saves them. The Lord protects everyone who loves him, but he will destroy all wicked people.”

Psalm 145:17-20

God knows you

I don’t know you, but Jesus knows you, He knitted you together in your mother’s womb (Psalms 139)

He paid the ultimate price for your sins:

“The servant grew up before God—a scrawny seedling, a scrubby plant in a parched field.

There was nothing attractive about him, nothing to cause us to take a second look.

He was looked down on and passed over, a man who suffered, who knew pain firsthand.

One look at him and people turned away.

We looked down on him, thought he was scum.

But the fact is, it was our pains he carried—our disfigurements, all the things wrong with us.

We thought he brought it on himself,  that God was punishing him for his own failures.

But it was our sins that did that to him, that ripped and tore and crushed him—our sins

He took the punishment, and that made us whole.

Through his bruises we get healed.

We’re all like sheep who’ve wandered off and gotten lost.

We’ve all done our own thing, gone our own way.

And God has piled all our sins, everything we’ve done wrong, on him, on him.”

Isaiah 53:2-6 The Message

The good Shepherd looking for the one lost sheep…

He is like the shepherd that will leave the 99 sheep to look for you when you are lost.

“There once was a shepherd with a hundred lambs, but one of his lambs wandered away and was lost.

So the shepherd left the ninety-nine lambs out in the open field and searched in the wilderness for that one lost lamb.

He didn’t stop until he finally found it.

With exuberant joy, he raised it up, placed it on his shoulders, and carried it back with cheerful delight!

Returning home, he called all his friends and neighbors together and said, ‘Let us have a party!

Come and celebrate with me the return of my lost lamb.

It wandered away, but I found it and brought it home.’

“Jesus continued, “In the same way, there will be a glorious celebration in heaven over the rescue of one lost sinner who repents, comes back home, and returns to the fold – more so than for all the righteous people who never strayed away.”

Luke 15:4-7 The Passion Translation

Choose Jesus!

And choose life abundantly!

Jesus is the way and the truth and the life and He came that we can have it abundantly into eternity.

When you choose Jesus, you choose life to have it abundantly into all eternity.

“I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live.”

Deuteronomy 30:19 (AMPC)

“A thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come so they may have life. I want them to have it in the fullest possible way.”

John 10:10 (NIRV)

If you want to give your life to Christ allow me to pray the sinner’s prayer with you:

Father, I ask that you will forgive my sins.

I declare with my mouth Jesus is Lord and believe with my heart that God raised Him from the dead, thank you that I am now saved.

For it is with my heart that I believe and is justified and it is with my mouth that I profess my faith and am saved.

Amen.

Romans 10:9-10

You are now forgiven and saved, a new person!

“If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old is gone! The new is here!”

2 Corinthians 5:17 (RAD)

New beginnings call for new habits:

  • Try to establish a new routine where you can spend time with Him every day.
  • Start reading His Word and ask the Holy Spirit to minister to you throughout the day.
  • Don’t complicate it, just start and do it otherwise you will become lukewarm and drift away.
  • Stay plugged into your power supply (The Word Of God and prayer) and you will start to experience spiritual growth.

Conclusion:

Do you know Jesus? – “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way. I am the truth. I am the life. Nobody comes to the Father except by me. If you really know me; you will also know my Father. From now on, you do know him, and you have seen him.’”  John 14:6-7 (EASY)

God is faithful – “The Lord is fair in all his way and faithful in everything he does.  The Lord is near to everyone who prays to him, to every faithful person who prays to him.  He fills the needs of those who fear him. He hears their cries for help and saves them.  The Lord protects everyone who loves him, but he will destroy all wicked people.” Psalms 145:17-20 (GW)

God knows you – He knitted you together in your mother’s womb. (Psalms 139)

Jesus paid the ultimate prize for our sins – “He was wounded and crushed because of our sins; by taking our punishment, he made us completely well. All of us were like sheep that had wandered off. We had each gone our own way, but the Lord gave him the punishment we deserved.” Isaiah 53:5-6 (CEV)

Choose Jesus and choose life in abundance –  “I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live”  Deuteronomy 30:19 (AMPC)

After you confess your sins and gave your life to Christ you are a new creature – “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old is gone! The new is here!”  2 Corinthians 5:17  (RAD)

New beginnings – new habits – make time to spend time with Him daily in Bible Study and Prayer.
