The war in Russia and Ukraine is heartbreaking when you listen to the news and hear about the crime, terror, and injustice.
So many innocent lives are destroyed and at stake.
We as children of God cannot just simply have a neutral outlook on the situation but are obliged to present the matter before God’s Throne in prayer for His divine intervention.
To effectively pray for Russia & Ukraine we have to start by praying for revival for everyone involved and affected by the war.

WHY we must pray for Russia & Ukraine
Jesus told us that there have to be wars.
“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”
Matthew 24:6
BUT there are also Promises from God’s Word that convince me our prayers can and will make a difference.
“The horse is prepared for the day of battle, But deliverance is of the Lord.”
Proverbs 21:31
It makes no difference to God how large the armies are who make war, His heavenly Warrior Angels can far outnumber any army or weapon on earth.
“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.”
2 Chronicles 16:9
God is more than able to intervene, deliver and help when our hearts are loyal to Him. This Scripture explains that there will be wars because He found no one whose hearts is undivided toward Him.
“The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
James 5:16
Our prayers do, can, and will make a difference in Russia & Ukraine. Even if we don’t think our prayers have any effect, I strongly believe they do and every prayer will definitely make a difference in the spiritual realm.
All we have is to stay faithful and keep praying and God’s Light will flood out all the darkness.
