Who Are God’s Enemies? reveal from Psalm 66:3-4 and breaks down from Scripture who God considers His enemies.
“Say to God, How awesome and fearfully glorious are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power shall Your enemies submit themselves to You [with feigned and reluctant obedience].
All the earth shall bow down to You and sing [praises] to You; they shall praise Your name in song. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!”
Psalm 66:3-4
To be a worshipper we must be God’s children.
To be a child of God we must accept Christ into our hearts.
If you did not already accept Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and want to do so now, you can read the article I wrote on it here.
These verses acknowledge God for His greatness and power.
He is God Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and will judge all the nations.
All the power and majesty belong to Him.
For me personally, it also refers to Revelation 19:6:
“After that I heard what sounded like the shout of a vast throng, like the boom of many pounding waves, and like the roar of terrific and mighty peals of thunder, exclaiming, Hallelujah (praise the Lord)! For now the Lord our God the Omnipotent (the All-Ruler) reigns!”
Who Are God’s Enemies?
I thought long about this and first, it must be Lucifer and his fallen angels – demons with Him.
Then next will be everyone who does not believe in God and His Son Jesus Christ and or serve other gods and the occults.
I am the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved (will live). He will come in and he will go out [freely], and will find pasture.
John 10:9
Then God’s last set of enemies will be everyone who does not go through sanctification and lay down their flesh.
Now the doings (practices) of the flesh are clear (obvious): they are immorality, impurity, indecency,
Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger (ill temper), selfishness, divisions (dissensions), party spirit (factions, sects with peculiar opinions, heresies),
Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Galatians 5:19-21
Scary stuff! And there are certainly a few things all of us have been guilty of before asking God’s forgiveness.

Jesus, Himself said:
“For he who is not against us is for us.”
Mark 9:40
If the Holy Spirit ministered to you while reading this and you need to confess something then please do so, then ask God to forgive you and wash you clean with the blood of the Lamb.
Okay, Now We Know Who God’s Enemies Are.
Next, the psalmist says God’s enemies shall submit themselves to Him and it is something God Himself said will happen.
“For it is written, As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God [acknowledge Him to His honor and to His praise].”
Romans 14:11
All the earth shall worship God and the true worshippers, children of God who are washed clean by the blood of the Lamb and did not defile themselves will live forever with God in His Kingdom.
There is no greater reward anyone can receive from God.
“And He [further] said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I [Myself] will give water without price from the fountain (springs) of the water of Life.
He who is victorious shall inherit all these things, and I will be God to him and he shall be My son.”
Revelation 21:6-7
Read again Psalm 66:3-4
“Say to God, How awesome and fearfully glorious are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power shall Your enemies submit themselves to You [with feigned and reluctant obedience].
All the earth shall bow down to You and sing [praises] to You; they shall praise Your name in song.”
I’m sure we not only interpret this Psalm in another light but also look with other eyes at the Awesome God we serve.
